
Due to the weather forecast of wind for tomorrow (May 25), the Graduation will be in the Gym starting at 9 am.

Today (May 24) is Raider Fun Day and Student Government is hosting lots of activities. Please leave all backpacks/bags at home. NOTE: Buses depart campus at noon. Seniors organize for Graduation Set Up at 1 pm; please gather in the Gym.

We are no longer in Secure Mode because we established that the suspicious person is no longer in the area. We are now in regular classes.

We are in Secure as a precautionary measure. No one can enter or leave the building. Classes will continue in a regular manner. There was a suspicious individual on campus. Everyone is safe in the building. There is no threat to scholars or staff. Parents should not come to campus because you will not be able to enter the building. We are monitoring the situation and updates will follow.

Today (May 22) is Senior Check-Out with a Required Rehearsal at 1:15 pm. Other grade levels will check-out on May 23 and then participate Raider Fun activities hosted by Student Government on Friday (May 24). Please note that buses depart campus at noon on Friday, May 24.

The Track Potluck is scheduled for Thursday, May 23, at 6 pm in WHS Cafeteria. Please join us at the 8th Grade Promotion tonight (May 21).

The 4th quarter ends at noon on Friday, May 24, and buses will leave campus at noon. If a scholar is interested in attending Summer School Credit Recovery, please call 435.678.1263. The 8th Grade Promotion starts at 6 pm today (May 21) and will be live streamed on YouTube at WHS Activities.

Let's send the scholar athletes who qualified for State Track out with wishes for fast races and far throws! Competition runs May 17-18.

Join the UNHS Community Preparedness Day on Saturday, May 18. There are fun activities on the Football Field and lunch is provided.


Final Concert is Tuesday, May 14, at 6:30 pm. There is no admission fee. We will stream @WHSActivities on YouTube.


Seniors are invited to attend Senior Sunset on Friday, May 10, from 7-11 pm. San Juan Counseling, San Juan Public Health, Aneth Chapter, and UNHS are sponsoring games, snacks, food, gifts, and everlasting memories!

It is Teacher Appreciation Week (May 6-10) so be sure to thank your teachers! (Region Track is Wed, May 8, in Monticello and the Senior Banquet is Thurs, May 9, at 6 m.)

The District Art Show starts at Edge of Cedars in Blanding today (May 3) with awards at 10:45 am.

The Miss Indian Broken Trail (MIBT) Club is hosting a Pageant today (May 2) at 6 pm. There are 6 contestants! Call Ms Miles at 435.678.1325 with questions.

AmeriCorp Math Mentors are coming to the end of their contract hours. Math Mentoring will be available on Monday and Wednesday for the rest of April. After that time there will no longer be After School Math Mentoring.
